Generic crypto and stock tools don't understand event contracts. QastLedger was built for them from day one.

Kalshi positions get Section 1256 60/40 treatment, matching Kalshi's own tax statement. For Polymarket, you choose: 60/40, or short-term and long-term based on how long you held each position.
Download a tax report with the IRS forms already filled in, including open positions marked to market at year end.
See where you're actually making money, and get alerts before a holding period or a tax deadline costs you.
Gains on regulated event contracts can be taxed as 60% long-term and 40% short-term, no matter how long you held them. That can mean a meaningfully lower tax bill than treating everything as short-term, and most tax tools won't split it for you.
Illustration only. Whether a position qualifies depends on the contract and your situation, so confirm with a tax professional.
Add a read-only Kalshi API key, paste your public Polymarket wallet address, or upload a CSV. We never ask for a private key or seed phrase.
Every closed contract is listed with fees removed. Choose how your Polymarket trades are treated, or keep the default.

Yes. For Kalshi we use a read-only API key, which can view history but can't place trades or move money. For Polymarket we only need your public wallet address. We will never ask for a private key or seed phrase.
Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated exchange, and its own year-end tax statement reports contracts as Section 1256 contracts with 60/40 treatment. QastLedger applies the same treatment. Tax rules for event contracts are still evolving, so confirm with a tax professional.
Polymarket's main international platform isn't a CFTC-regulated exchange, so it may not qualify for 60/40 treatment. You choose how QastLedger treats your Polymarket trades: short-term or long-term based on how long you held each position, or the 60/40 split if you and your advisor decide it applies.
